We offer imperfect (yet delicious) produce, affordable pantry items, and quality meat and dairy. We deliver them conveniently to our customers’ doorsteps and pride ourselves on offering up to a 30% discount compared to grocery store prices. About the Role:
We’re seeking someone to attract and retain top talent, create a diverse workplace, and build a solid employment brand by managing the experience for candidates and hiring managers. We believe people are our greatest asset and the talent we attract drives us. Our approach to recruiting is collaborative and based on relationship building. We’re looking for someone who is invested in our story and wants to share it.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with managers to write job descriptions for upcoming roles in a playful and passionate tone that matches the Imperfect brand voice
  • Ensure that our JDs are reaching the right people, utilizing the best job boards & communication channels (both paid and unpaid)
  • Manage our hiring page and all of our postings on job boards
  • Attend job fairs, recruiting events, and keep a rolodex of potential hires. Know who the best people are and where to find them
  • Know our company inside and out so that you can show prospective candidates how amazing it is to work for Imperfect
  • Be responsible for our Lever account and all aspects of the hiring process to ensure an efficient and smooth experience for hiring managers and prospective candidates
  • Schedule interviews and screen applicants
  • Stay current on hiring strategies and competitive industry salaries
  • Use our ATS (Lever) and be able to show a results-focused recruiting process
  • Work with hiring managers to develop and lead interview processes across departments
  • Keep ‘em warm! Be familiar with the existing pipeline of talent and be thinking about what future opportunities would fit

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, across a variety of verticals including, but not limited to Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations
  • A commitment to and passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Experience using LinkedIn and a variety of other recruiting channels
  • Huge Bonus Points: Experience using Lever (our ATS)

Details of the Position:

  • Full-time exempt position reports remotely to the Talent Acquisition Lead
  • Candidate can be remotely located within the US

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time

COVID update for on-site employees: All Imperfect Foods employees must be fully vaccinated to be on-site or at company functions. For roles that require an employee to be on-site to fulfill their job functions: job offers are contingent on providing proof of vaccination (e.g., a copy of a vaccine card or other similar official document confirming vaccination status).
At Imperfect Foods, employee health and safety is our top priority. We have implemented processes and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our facilities. We provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to all essential employees who must report to work. Before entering our warehouse, employees have their temperatures checked. In addition, we take great care to ensure frequently touched surfaces are sanitized throughout the day and all warehouses are fully sanitized weekly.
We have also implemented an Emergency Sick Leave policy providing full-time and part-time employees 2 additional weeks of paid time off and up to 26 weeks paid leave if they have a confirmed case of COVID-19.
