THE ROLE

As the Senior Analyst supporting the Global Operations function at Zoomo, you will be responsible for ensuring we have the right data-driven visibility and insights into operational activities across all our markets.

As part of a rapidly growing function and company, you will be the Senior Analyst within the Global Operations team, and have a pivotal role in setting up Central and Regional Operations teams for success and scale through the creation and management of data reports, tools and insights across our core operational functions (Fleet Management and Rider Operations).

This role would be ideally suited for a gun analyst with at least 3-4 years experience looking to gain more leadership responsibilities and build out a mini-function from the ground up, in a rapidly growing startup. You will be a peer and thought partner to Senior Operations Managers in the business and have the full support of an experienced operations leadership team, as well as a growing BI function within Zoomo.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core responsibilities include:

  • Working with new and complex data structures to monitor and report on performance vs. goals, with easy to understand visualisations
  • Helping identify process gaps and business improvement opportunities through maintaining of dashboards and deep diving into untapped data points
  • Synthesising insights from multiple data sources to enable our operations teams to make better decisions for our customer and our business
  • Making actionable recommendations based on large amounts of information from varying data sources
  • Support on wider strategic project initiatives on an ad-hoc basis

Requirements

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Technical Skills and Experience:
    • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in data or analytics role
    • Experience working with SQL is a must have
    • Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau and experience with Python, or R+ would be an advantage
    • Degree level qualification in a relevant field such as data science, information management systems, analytics would be an advantage
  • Key Attributes:
    • Enjoy being hands on, and diving deep into new data sets
    • Have the ability to think strategically and also tactically when tackling new problems
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills working across departments and regions
    • Comfortable working in an ever changing, dynamic environment (i.e. hustling!)
    • Self motivated and excited to learn
    • Takes pride in getting things done
