FAQ

Why Pledge?

  • As an early team member, you’ll play a leading role in shaping the direction of our company, product and go-to-market.
  • Work on a real-world problem in a stimulating work environment which puts a strong emphasis on ownership, integrity and delivery.
  • Proven team of operators who have previously co-founded companies such as Freetrade as well as help scale Revolut since the early days to become one of Europe’s biggest ever private tech group.
  • Proven customer traction and backed by leading B2B and climate investors (we’ll share more on that during the interview process).

How remote friendly are you?

We're hiring across our London (HQ) and upcoming Lisbon/ Porto offices. We typically meet in person on a weekly basis. We're firm believers that to build the best product and develop the right culture nothing beats in-person meetings. That said we’re remote friendly and some of us at times conduct a week or two of fully remote work.

What is the interview process like?

We favour practical interviews combined with work samples and we share clear goals and expectations for each one. Our objective throughout this process is for you and our team to have all the necessary information to assess whether there is a perfect fit between you and Pledge.

  1. You will have an introductory call with a member of the department you’re interviewing for or one of our founders. The objective of this conversation is to learn more about each other and address all your questions. It’ll also be a chance for us to assess the cultural fit with our team.
  2. We’ll run through a live exercise (no prior preparation needed), typically a pair programming assignment for technical roles and a business case for non-technical roles.
  3. Finally, you will be invited for an on-site interview to meet the wider team where we will conduct whiteboard exercises subject to the role you're in the process for.
