The Staff Accountant will be part of the core accounting group. The Staff Accountant will record journal entries, help with the day-to-day accounting, and will perform various monthly and quarterly reconciliations. This person will also help with various financial audits and the preparation of financial statements and SEC filing documents.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
  • Reconcile vendor payments and credit card transactions
  • Prepare and maintain amortization schedules for prepaid accounts and fixed assets
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for period end close
  • Review accounts payable and accounts receivable for any discrepancies
  • Assist in various financial audits and reviews
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as requested

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing a team of specialists and passion about seeing others grow through coaching, mentoring, and career development
  • Knowledge of core programs 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • 1+ year experience in accounting or related field preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance required
