AMP Robotics is hiring an Accounts Payable Manager reporting to Accounting Manager to focus on managing all aspects of our Accounts Payable process.

As our AP Manager, you will work to:

  • Manage and supervise the accounts payable department and staff in the organization.
  • Develop systems, policies, and procedures that adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure that the accounts payable and the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently.
  • Oversees tax-related processes, including use tax calculations, and 1099 processing.
  • Oversee all payment transactions such as ACH, wires, and checks via our 3rd party processing software.
  • Will supervise and assist as needed in data entry, validation, and processing of invoices, company credit cards, and employee reimbursements.
  • Keeps track of the status of all transactions taking place within the company and external vendors and contractors.
  • Be active on the customer service front including interactions with external vendors and contractors.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise Accounting Clerk in accounts payable area.

The successful candidate will have:

Required:

  • Experience with leadership roles and display problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must have substantial ERP AP system experience, as well as 1099 filing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and time management skills.
  • Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.

Preferred: 

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Tipalti, Expensify, and Avalara software systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: 

  • 5 plus years of accounts payable experience.
  • 3 plus years of supervisory experience.

Salary & Compensation Information: $70,000-85,000 depending on experience.

Benefits Information:

  • Medical - The company covers up 85% to 100% of the premium for Cigna healthcare plans depending on the selection. Employees pay the difference in premium if they select a more expensive plan. Up to 75% for dependents. 
  • Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability.
  • 401(k) retirement plan (non-matching).
  • 14 days PTO and 6 paid sick days.
  • Nine (9) paid holidays – 7 company designated and 2 floating holidays. (salaried employees only).
