Job Description

Job Overview 
The Account Coordinator will assist with maintaining a portfolio of Benelux clients with Chain of Custody certification services from a diversity of paper, packaging, and wood products sectors. The Account Coordinator provides support in understanding and communicating technical requirements for audits and engaging with clients to ensure service needs, timelines, financial goals, and accreditation requirements are met. All Account Coordinators assist in meeting program revenue and profitability goals.  

 

Relevant Services/Schemes:  

  • FSC, PEFC, SBP, 2nd Party audits 

 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Engage with clients by responding promptly to their questions and requests, and providing support in understanding requirements and continuing their certification services  

  • Create projects for expansions of scope certification audits 

  • Provide audit support to clients related to scoping, pricing, and scheduling audits  

  • Oversee contract auditor workflow by facilitating audit status updates and communications 

  • Ensure consistent flow of audit projects portfolio to contribute to financial goals and meet required certification timelines 

  • Coordinate with Managers, Technical team and Domestic team to deliver solutions that meet global clients’ and program needs 

  • Acquire expert knowledge of each certification programs requirements and objectives 

  • Support the maintenance and implementation of program quality system by maintaining documents, records, and progress tracking to maintain compliance with SCS quality management systems and/or the rules of the relevant certification scheme 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or minimum 4 years’ professional experience 

  • Complete fluency in Dutch and English and work experience that involves professional, technical written communication 

  • Previous account or administrative coordination experience  

  • Previous coordination experience with 3rd party certification preferred 

  • Strong customer service and teamwork orientation 

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail 

  • Initiative, good judgment, ability to work independently, responsive and adaptive personality 

  • Proficient with business software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and database management 

  • Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered, unless precluded by local and national jurisdiction. Pursuant to local and national law--proof of vaccination required. Medical and religious accommodations will also be considered.

Physical Requirements 

This is an office-based job. Sit 6+ hours per day. Keyboarding 6+ hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen in person and on the phone.
