The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission Statement: -
Support the roll-out, training, administration and operations of Enterprise Project Information & Control System (EPIC) within Hitachi Energy, PGGI and later provide project planning & controls service to Substation/HVDC projects.
Your responsibilities: -
- Responsible to configuration control of Oracle Primavera Codes Structure, Resources, Roles, Calendars, EPS, OBS, Security Profiles, Business Process, Workflows, Cost Sheets, Curves, Reports, Dashboards and Application Settings.
- Managing application Security and Governance.
- Create and maintain Templates, Projects and User setup on demand.
- Monitor application integration and Export/Import data from external applications (SAP/TBMS).
- Maintaining and updating functional specifications and procedures.
- Assisting with systems integrations and migration of legacy projects.
- Performing structured testing of EPIC system changes and new releases .
- Development of bespoke reports, training materials and training delivery.
- Implement future developments.
- Review and analyze schedules in accordance with programme governance procedures.
- Act as liaison with other departments and controls systems to assure effective integration opportunities are identified, evaluated, and implemented as appropriate within the approved priorities.
- Development of a comprehensive project plan during tender and execution as per scope.
- Develop and maintain integrated role/resource loaded baseline and current schedule for better cost forecasting.
- Report the status of schedule and man-hours in a time phased project baseline, actual and forecast data to appropriate project and company management. Prepare slide pack for project review.

Your background: -
- Any B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics.
- You should have 8 years professional work experience in Project Controls and its related applications.
- Proficient in EPC project planning, scheduling, critical path analysis and reporting.
- Proficient in using Primavera P6 and Unifier.
- Proficient with design and configuration of business processes and workflow within Oracle Primavera P6 and Unifier.
- Experienced as EPC Planner and Primavera Consultant.
- Working experience in Power Grids industry.
- Work independently with the ability to interpret and deliver management intent.
- Excellent understanding of IT Systems and how Primavera P6 and Unifier interfaces with other Systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, Self-Motivated, Flexible with Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
