ABOUT THIS ROLE
Reporting to Aspen FSP’s Managing Director, the Senior Development Manager will develop, manage, execute and coordinate all processes related to funder cultivation, stewardship, and funding compliance for FSP, serving as a key strategic and operational partner to FSP’s Management Team as well as our finance and communications functions. The Senior Development Manager will have a variety of responsibilities related to funder cultivation and stewardship, concept and proposal development, partnership management and compliance, and grant reporting.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, collaborative, reliable, and proven development professional, who is able to deliver high quality, timely project management and work products, as well as thoughtful, strategic advice, and has the awareness, knowledge, sensitivity, and ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues and partners. The successful candidate will also be an excellent writer who enjoys the creative process of developing concepts and ideas to match the impact aspirations of funding organizations with the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program’s unique toolbox and expertise.
This role reports directly to Aspen FSP’s Managing Director. The role is based at Aspen’s Washington D.C. headquarters, with an in-office expectation of a minimum of 2x a week to collaborate with colleagues. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $113,000 per year.

Develop, manage, and coordinate FSP’s fundraising lifecycle processes
Support FSP’s Co-Executive Directors and other FSP Directors in proposal development
