Job Description

Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for forests and a cleaner future? We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer and well-rounded creative to understand and develop the NCX brand using visual storytelling to an audience of forest landowners and carbon buyers. You will be working cross functionally with the Business Development, Marketing, and US Origination teams to share NCX’s mission and vision while adhering to our brand identity. This is an exciting opportunity to stretch your graphic design skills into other storytelling formats including social imagery, multichannel campaigns, videos, and photography. You would be joining a rapidly growing team with a new product in the fast-growing industry of climate tech. We know, that is a lot of growing! This means from time to time you will step outside of your graphic design focus to help shape the direction of the overall marketing practice or chip in to help a colleague when the need arises. A collaborative, curious, growth mindset is critical to success in this role. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the Business Development and US Origination teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive our brand forward with a look that speaks to the heart of NCX and its participants
  • Produce creative designs across that maximize effectiveness across multiple channels such as print, video, social, presentation decks, and digital
  • Design direct response ads, brand books, story driven presentation decks, sales collateral, booths, social imagery, infographics, and videos
  • Iterate on designs after reviewing the learnings from research, A/B testing, and other qualitative methods
  • Elevate our creative approach through self-initiated and self-directed exploration projects
  • Set brand guidelines and processes as our creative capabilities grow
  • Manage, set expectations, and prioritize projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Push projects forward with minimal oversight; be able to work autonomously when needed

Sound Like You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, environmental graphic design, information design, communication design or similar
  • 5-10 years of experience after graduation in graphic design or a related field
  • Strong illustration, typography, composition and information design skills across multiple project types such as print communications or digital tools (i.e. websites, apps, etc.)
  • Software Competency: Adobe Creative Suite; After Effects a plus
  • Ability to tell a compelling visual story
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills that works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation skills with an ability to communicate the “why” behind design decisions
  • Develop top-of-the-line work under tight deadlines and tight budgets
  • Experience with video shooting and editing a plus
  • Ability to design and deliver web pages and experiences is a plus, but not required
