The role

The Australia Commercial team is now seeking a dynamic individual to join our Perth team as a Client Success Manager (CSM) responsible for fostering lasting client relationships and being a trusted advisor to our clients.

Rystad Energy is looking for candidates with proven experience in customer success and/or business analysis, specifically within the Energy space. The candidate should ideally possess expertise in the SaaS industry, strong commercial awareness, excellent networking skills and ability to listen and understand customer needs.

You will get the opportunity to develop and execute product-driven and segment-focused client retention and growth strategies, as well as helping clients realize the full value of Rystad Energy’s databases and analytics to help them deliver on their business outcomes. You will also work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, market research and client training to drive engagement and expansion across your client remit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as clients’ trusted advisor by designing and delivering tailor fit engagement plans to help clients maximize value from Rystad products and services.  
  • In charge of end-to-end customer lifecycle including but not limited to delivering onboarding sessions, providing tailor fit product trainings and answering client queries in a timely manner    
  • Take ownership of tracking client usage rates and implementing relevant strategies with the account team to improve user adoption rates.
  • Work closely with account team to identify upsell opportunities, initiatives to grow user base to maximize contract renewals rate
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders
  • Become a conduit between clients and Rystad internal stakeholders eg. product managers, analysts, account team to provide product / services feedback
  • Develop a sound understanding of Rystad Energy products and services and proactively help identify areas of improvement to increase market share and penetration.
  • Provide timely support to your book of accounts and the wider client portfolio (globally)
  • Proactively participate in industry and networking events to grow the Rystad Energy brand
  • Maintain all client data and interaction records in the CRM system

Skills & Attributes for success

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum three years of experience in relevant sectors such as Energy, Finance, SaaS, or Consulting
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong interest in client-facing roles, customer experience and business relationships
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel based on business needs
  • Previous experience with large enterprise / global customers is preferred
  • Passionate about developing close relationships with our customers and enabling their long-term success
  • Proven knowledge of Energy markets is a key strength
  • Proven understanding of valuation models and economic analysis are highly desired
  • Experience working with databases, CRM platforms and Power BI is an advantage
  • Strong focus on collaboration and teamwork across functions and regions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
