ABOUT THE ROLEThe Power Portfolio Specialist will report to Head of Portfolio Management and will be responsible of operating the dispatching of power portfolio for MET Energia Italia, with the view to minimise the balancing/flexibility risk associated to the company portfolio (sales and generation).The key responsibilities will be:<ul><li>To ensure that the dispatching activity takes place efficiently and profitably, leveraging on the market optimization instruments (MGP, MI, XBID). Direct P&amp;L responsibility.</li><li>To contribute to the set-up of the Power Operations IT System</li><li>To contribute in developing new methodologies for pricing potential new power plants (conventional and/or RES)</li><li>To support the introduction of any new systems and processes that will foster the development of the company in this area, in alignment with MET Group IT standards and operational procedures</li><li>To support the pricing activity to MET Energia Italia sales teams, as well any supporting activity to the company management that will be required.</li></ul>
