Shift/Hours/Location: M-F, 8am-5pm, Hybrid, Moses Lake, WA

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  • Manage projects from intake through retrospective.
  • Ensures effective communication for status, schedule, performance, and tasks for all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and audit resource allocations and budgets and collaborate with stakeholders to adjust over the project lifecycle.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools to plan, monitor, direct, adjust, and escalate issues with project scopes, timelines, budgets, and tasks.
  • Create and maintain executive level status materials with the ability to summarize progress status to senior leadership.
  • Ensure the overall programs are aligned with long-term company vision.
  • Identify interdependence across projects, programs, products, and portfolios.
  • Monitor program and project expenditures and costs related to operations.
  • Be actively involved with the development, implementation, and maintenance of PMO strategies, processes, and systems that align investment activity with MLI’s global business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities that improve MLI’s ability to accomplish goals & objectives.
  • Maintain expertise in industry best practices and trends and use that expertise to elevate the ability of project stakeholders.
  • Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
  • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required.  It is the employee’s commitment to ensure that the Company’s actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or relevant field.
  • Strong expertise in overall project and program management theories and techniques for construction, commercial, and business improvement projects.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ work experience leading successful projects of increasing complexity.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing programs and a $10m+ program.
  • Experience working in ISO compliant chemical, semi-conductor, or high-tech manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing and developing project stakeholders.
  • Skilled in understanding scientific, technical, statistical, and quality improvement data and processes.
  • Expertise in multiple project management software platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
  • Ability to travel (All US States & International), up to 50% of time.
  • Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
    • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
    • Work as a team and/or independently.
    • Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

    • Critical thinking, scenario planning, & risk mitigation techniques and systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in business or relevant field preferred.
  • Chemical manufacturing experience.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications or equivalent.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $102K-$150K

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are generally performed indoors in an office and high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. When working in the presence of safety hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as: hardhat, safety glasses and full leather shoes, etc. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc.
