Position: Regional Sales Leader; Heartland Region (Iowa, Central and Southern Minnesota and Wisconsin)

We are looking for an experienced sales leader to build on Pivot Bio’s success in a portion of the Midwest. As a critical member of our Commercial Operations team, this role will lead Independent Representative interaction in the region while managing customer acquisition and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Further develop a region that includes three states across multiple product platforms, programs and channels to the customer.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective relationships across independent reps, retailers and growers throughout the region.
  • Bring timely on-the-ground perspective about our product strengths and needed improvements to the Commercial leadership team.
  • Provide product and program education - credibly, openly, and accurately communicating capabilities.
  • Recruit and develop a team of sales and channel partners to expand Pivot Bio's sales in this region.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience within the commercial division of ag businesses.
  • 5 years in a management capacity within a commercial unit related to ag sales or marketing.
  • University/College BA/BS degree.
  • Demonstrated history of working with independent reps and key accounts.
  • Willingness to travel and work with or coach teammates and reps on a consistent basis.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Lead "go to market" efforts on an annual basis in the region.

Other:

  • Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, i.e., heat, humidity, rain, cold, etc. for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to drive or ride in a vehicle for long periods of time.
  • Seasonally the workday may be expanded to allow for tasks to be completed.
