What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for providing knowledge & insight on energy billing interactions in the Core Energy Squad. We are looking for someone who has a well rounded understanding of the billing lifecycle including tariffs, pricing,generating consumptions and billing regulations.

You’ll work closely with the product managers, design teams and engineers to provide billing expertise allowing teams to work faster and stretch thinking to shape the future of products being delivered. 

In addition to working in the Core Energy Squad you will be part of centralisedEnergy Specialist Team sitting within the Energy Engine Sphere (Core Energy,Metering & Industry and Journeys) allowing you to come together with other specialists to share knowledge, offer support and contribute toward the wider Energy Engine Sphere goals.Alongside excellent energy billing knowledge the ideal candidate will have a product focused mindset and be a great collaborative worker

 

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you will have/be

  • A few years experience in billing operations (ideally a subject matter expert experience in an operational role or energy retailer consultancy)
  • Knowledge of licensing in the energy industry.
  • Be a self-starter, you’ll be someone who is comfortable hitting the ground running.
  • Although it’s not a must, some experience working with devs would be a bonus!
