Shiru is now expanding our team of dedicated professionals across multiple disciplines to make enhanced protein ingredients for a better world.
About the roleShiru is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the CEO. This person will partner closely with the CEO and her Chief of Staff on a wide variety of administrative duties including schedule management, travel arrangement, communication, and company culture. Shiru’s Executive Assistant should have excellent verbal and written communication abilities and confidence communicating with professionals of all types, exceptional time management skills, and the ability to effectively make professional judgment calls on behalf of the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO’s schedule and calendar including prioritizing her time and ensuring work-life balance 
  • Manage communication and requests from internal and external stakeholders including employees, customers, and investors with low turnaround timeHandle meeting preparations and follow up tasks proactively as needed 
  • Arrange travel for the CEO and other Shiru team members as needed 
  • Assist with Facilities and Office Management for two satellite offices including stocking office supplies, staff kitchen groceries. Project manage an upcoming office move in 2022!
  • Work with the Chief of Staff on creating and executing Shiru culture and operations initiatives including but not limited to planning events, implementing perks, and managing a seamless and thoughtful hiring and onboarding process for new employees 
  • Carry out any other needed administrative tasks which may include personal needs for the CEO 

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in a high growth, dynamic startup environment
  • Located in the San Francisco, Bay Area with the ability to go into an office 2-3 times per week
  • Proficient with all Google Suite apps, Slack, and Asana. Experience with Notion, Expensify, and Lever is a plus. 
  • Strong computer skills, with an ability to become familiar with company and/or task specific programs and software
  • Ability to multi-task and anticipate last minute changes
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality with a high volume of confidential information
