Operating in 20 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa, we are at the forefront of transformative opportunities in Infrastructure &amp; Energy and Integrated SolutionsAbout the Role:The incumbent will role model RBG’s values, mission and vision and ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.Key Responsibility:<ul><li>Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, all policies, procedures and work practices, as they relate to the role.</li><li>Ensure tasks are carried out professionally, effectively and efficiently and within company standards, policies and guidelines.</li><li>Ensure all decisions made are not obscured by bias and are in accordance with the Company’s Delegation of Authority.</li><li>Comply with all H&amp;S policies and procedures.</li><li>Oversees the everyday operations of the company’s computer and network systems</li><li>Handle set-up and installation of systems, as well as troubleshooting, evaluation of systems performance and maintenance</li><li>Packaging of software applications and SOE image administration &amp; deployment.</li><li>Monitoring and reporting of system availability, performance and security.</li><li>Documenting procedures, system configuration &amp; issue resolution information.</li><li>Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.</li><li>Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.</li><li>Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.</li><li>Interface directly with the help desk and IT support technicians to resolve and document hardware and software troubleshooting tickets, bug reports and errors.</li><li>Perform daily system monitoring and backup procedures to ensure data security, availability and integrity of required resources, and proper recording of application logs and reviews\</li><li>Participate in required compliance and QA activities as needed</li></ul>Suitable applicants will have/be:<ul><li>Experience in administering Office 365.</li><li>Experience in administering Microsoft Skype for Business</li><li>Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or Information Technology.</li><li>Microsoft MCSE certification or similar.</li><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in system administration or promoted internally with adequate previous Desktop Support experience.</li><li>Expert-level proficiency in a minimum of two unique operating systems</li><li>Familiarity with SQL and database operations.</li></ul>At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
