Position: Marketing Automation Manager   Location: Remote

Responsible for leading the Commercial organization aspects of CRM transition and future enhancements. This position will be responsible for leading marketing campaign design, customer segmentation, lead nurturing, sales, and customer support activities within the CRM  tool. Pivot Bio currently uses HubSpot and is actively evaluating other CRM tools to serve as a business hub to drive marketing campaigns, capture sales and customer support ticketing. This position will lead a team of individuals that are expected to contribute to strategic marketing initiatives across all channels including website, targeted display advertising, landing pages, email, and accounts-based management (ABM) programs. Strong CRM technical management skills are essential to manage  the external facing components of the CRM instance and maintain data integrity and integrations across business platforms.

  Responsibilities: 

  • Gather requirements of sales, marketing, and customer support and develop solutions within the CRM tool to address those needs.
  • Develop and implement strategy for data control, CRM enhancement and maintenance.
  • Design and automate data integrity and data management initiatives, including segmentation implementation and analysis, list management, and lead processes in the CRM tool.
  • Serve as a connection point to other Pivot Bio departments including Finance and Information Technology to drive key business processes including sales, invoicing, and customer support.
  • Build, manage and maintain reports with the business intelligence analysts to track ROI and success metrics for every campaign.
  • Segment lists based on demographic and firmographic data and behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions.
  • Lead an internal team and collaborate with third-party vendors to build, test, launch and optimize campaigns including email template setup, campaign setup, lead nurture, event promotion, ABM, data management, A/B testing, scheduling tracking and measuring campaign performance.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to identify and implement new processes to increase sales opportunities through database management and refined lead management strategies.
  • Excel in project management and product requirement skills to ensure projects consistently meet delivery deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Project Management or related field
  • 10+ years of experience with Automation
  • Proven CRM or marketing automation platform experience with a background in supporting complex marketing automation campaigns
  • Previous hands-on experience scaling demand generation programs, including nurture and other outbound programs
  • 3+ years HTML/CSS knowledge for email design and coding
  • Excellent grasp of best practices for email marketing and design
  • Experience with editing tools such as Photoshop for image resizing for HTML troubleshooting
