We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Group Accounting to oversee the financial operations of our fast-growing, international organization. As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will manage and enhance our global financial processes, ensure compliance with international accounting standards, and drive the ongoing development of our accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
  • Lead cash flow monitoring and forecasting, ensuring financial accuracy and consistency across global operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the CFO to optimize financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Manage the accounting operations in Norway and support global operations, addressing accounting-related issues.
  • Drive the implementation and enhancement of finance systems to support company growth, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • In collaboration with external auditors, lead the audit process, ensuring compliance with tax filings, regulatory requirements, and statutory reporting.
  • Mentor and develop a global team of accounting professionals, fostering cross-functional collaboration with HR, IT, and Legal.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA or equivalent required
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years as a controller, or similar leadership role in a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and experience managing outsourced accounting teams and third-party service providers.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
