Overview

Working within a team to accurately process the movement of materials through the business and to meet required of on time delivery and inventory accuracy targets; this is the key to the business success.

Main Accountabilities

Within the Logistics functions, ensure the flow of materials is quick and efficient and meets local demands.

Across the entire site, ensure the correct delivery of materials

Ensure stock levels are accurate both physically within the area and on SAP.

Aid customers with any part problems or stock queries and assist in their timely resolution

Flexibility within the logistics team due to variable workload; able to change between different tasks including administrative tasks across the Logistics areas as required.

Ensure all Health and Safety regulations and Manual Handling guidelines are adhered to within the working area while showing a duty of care to others within the area.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects where required

Essential/Desired Experience

  • Computer literate – SAP and Outlook experience – though full training will be given
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Manual handling trained.
  • Strong team player with a can do approach.
  • Thorough and a high attention to detail
  • Ability to solve problems and customer oriented.
  • FLT trained would be an advantage though training will be given
