Job Description
FLIR Systems Estonia OÜ is an infra-red cameras manufacturer in Tallinn, since 2007, today with 160 Employees. We belong to U.S. company Teledyne Technology, Inc. Read more: www.flir.com. Our quality team is looking for an Engineer to support our incomong inspection, work with suppliers and improvements in our quality system.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- identification of components and materials subject to incoming inspection
- making component and finished product specifications available for Estonian plant functions
- organizing inspections of non-conforming components during the manufacturing process or performing the inspection yourself, if needed
- analyzing the quality of materials and components and contributing to the continuous improvement of suppliers
- communication on quality issues with relevant counterparts
- handling of quality complaints to suppliers
- coordination of ECO-s (Engineering change order)
- handling of customer claims management of evaluation and claims warehouse locations
- participation in internal audits as an auditor
- preparation of manuals for the control and operations or management system
- sample register management
- arranging quality trainings for production teams
Requirements:
- Higher technical education
- Quality related work experience in manufacturing company, electronics field is beneficial
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to identify the source of problems
- Good English and Estonian language (spoken and written), Russian language (spoken)
- Good skills of MS Office, experience in SAP is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001/14001:2015
- Knowledge of IPC standards & previous experience in electronics manufacturing are an advantage.
