CarboNet makes chemistry that helps industry use less water, recycle more, and cut emissions—all while saving money.
That’s a compelling loop that’s propelled us to profitability and 50 employees in just a few years.
It’s also crucial. As of now, we’re 40% overdrawn on global freshwater reserves. Water insecurity has caused wars, displaced millions, and thrown off the water cycles we depend on for food. Anything that reduces freshwater use is a win.
That’s where you come in. We’re hiring a Marketing Manager with a background in science and/or water to focus on field marketing and demand gen. Someone who can help industrial and municipal customers not just understand and buy our products, but care enough to champion them themselves.
In this role, you’ll manage events, build campaigns, and support sales with tools and strategies that grow our presence in key markets. You’ll also assist with GTM and positioning, chip in on owned and earned media, and track everything so we stay aligned and on target.
What You’ll Do
Drive Field Sales & Campaigns: Plan and execute field events, digital campaigns, and targeted outreach to build the pipeline and generate leads
Manage Events & Logistics: Coordinate trade shows, webinars, and conferences—handling budgets, vendors, and post-event lead tracking
Support Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with materials like product decks, case studies, and competitive insights to convert leads
Content & Collaboration: Work with internal and freelance teams to develop marketing content that supports campaigns and strengthens the brand
Track & Optimize: Monitor performance metrics and make informed tweaks to improve ROI and keep efforts on point
What You’ll Need
Science degree or relevant experience in the water industry
3-5 years in marketing, preferably B2B
Proven skills in demand generation, field sales, and campaign management
Experience with event logistics, digital marketing, and CRM
Language to simplify technical concepts and collaborate across teams
Self-starter with solid project management skills and attention to detail
Willingness to travel up to 25% for events and sales meetings
This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact, shaping how we connect with customers, grow our community, and scale a business. That, and, you know, help save the world from a looming water crisis.
Role open to candidates in the U.S and Canada.
