Materials Testing Technician

Modern Meadow is seeking a motivated Material Testing Technician to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Process Development, manufacturing, and testing groups to ensure material and test data entry from production, pilot and lab experiments are completed in LIMS data management system in timely a manner
• Diligently follow internal procedures or customer related procedures to ensure the accuracy and specificity of the data
• Maintains accurate and complete records consistent with company policy and legal requirements
• Operation and regular maintenance of different test equipment related to material testing and also application specific testing
• Troubleshoot testing equipment and methods
• Anticipate and recognize potential problems with supplies and equipment and takes action to prevent and solve problems
• Create and maintain a safe, effective and efficient working environment in testing lab

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering or Polymer science preferred
• Prior experience completing data entry and working in LIMS data management systems required
• Prior experience in testing materials using Instron and other related instruments is a plus
• Possesses good organizational, communication, analytical and computer skills
• High degree of personal accountability, with the ability to work independently and deliver results within project specific timelines
• Self-motivated, passionate about your work, and enthusiastic about contributing to building a positive team spirit
• Prior experience working cross-functionally with various teams to enable streamlined workflows
• Fast learner able to demonstrate flexibility in response to evolving work requirements
