Job Description

As an Energy Savings Analyst, it is your job to ensure that projects are developed based on an accurate analysis of pictures and other key inputs.

We are transforming energy, finance and home improvement to deliver clean air and comfort with less energy. Sealed modernizes home heating and cooling with upgrades like insulation and HVAC technology. We match the right contractor, cover the upfront costs, and stand behind the work: we only get paid if your house saves energy. Sealed, one of Fast Company’s top ten most innovative energy companies of 2021, is venture backed and based in New York City. Learn more at sealed.com.

What will you do?

Sealed only makes money if our customers save energy, and you will make sure that they do!

Most people don’t know a crawlspace from a baffle, but you will not only know this lingo, you will be an expert in whether that crawlspace can be insulated and if that baffle has been installed up to Building Performance Institute standards. If not, you will be clear on what our contractor partners need to do to ensure every Sealed project is installed to the highest quality levels.

You will also be the last line of defense to confirm that customer agreements are accurate and complete so that Sealed and our contractor partners can be paid promptly. With your maniacal organization and attention to detail, customers will receive the comfort and project performance they are expecting while contractor partners are paid for quality work. And of course Sealed will generate the energy savings necessary to pay back our investment in the project.

Your work will encompass the following activities:

  • Confirm project inputs and energy data is correct before an installation can begin
  • Photo review of customer and contractor pictures prior to contract finalization.
  • Photo review of post-install project pictures.
  • Energy modeling of projects using Sealed analytics tools and off the shelf energy modeling software.
  • Process improvements to more efficiently and effectively review customer projects and agreements.

What does success looks like?

  • Sealed customers receive accurate agreements on time with no exception.
  • Contractors receive accurate and timely feedback on project quality and photo quality.
  • Sealed projects save more energy than expected because the installation quality is best in class.
