Our international team is searching for a new member to take over the responsibility as Junior Project Manager of projects in automation and intralogistics solutions in a multicultural region Eastern Europe and Middle East/ Africa.
In this position you manage customer projects in the area of automated guided vehicles (AGV’s) with geographical focus on Eastern Europe. Your aim is to grow the business segment in a sustainable way while interacting with internal and external stakeholders. You further substantially support the countries' business and coordinate activities within the dedicated region and the headquarters of both KION Group brands, namely Linde and STILL.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Below you can find tasks and responsibilities of this position:

  • Management of holistic customer projects in the area of automated guided vehicles (AGV in the region)
  • Alignment with the project engineer regarding the project concept, calculation and offer
  • Responsibility for project budget
  • Responsibility for planning and the implementation of the systematic commissioning at the customer’s site
  • Coordination of the project resources (sales- and installation units)
  • Clarification of technical processes and requirements during project phase
  • Ensure reporting and quality monitoring as well as controlling of claims management and settlements

In order to fullfill this role, we require the following competencies:

 

Education & Experience

  • Completed degree in engineering, logistics or similar education
  • Professional experience in project management
  • Experience with automated guided vehicles and/or technical projects

Language proficiency

  • Very good English skills required
  • Every other additional language is an asset (German, French or any other language spoken in EE/MEA)

Required abilities

  • Comfortable with MS Office applications and preferably experience with SAP
  • Willingness to travel (50% of time)
