We think in terms of impact, not strict responsibilities. Here's how you’ll contribute:

  • We're growing quickly. Your ability to produce high quality corporate carbon accounting analysis in a timely way will allow us to continue to rapidly scale our customer base
  • You can build for the future. You’ll help us build, manage and maintain a high quality database of emission factors that will quickly become one of the most comprehensive in the world
  • Efficiency is key. You’ll always be looking for ways to improve our playbooks and processes to ensure we can delight customers across a range of industries
  • You set the tone. You will play a major role in growing a healthy culture of transparency, collaboration and technical quality in the team, both through your work and as a leader
  • You'll deliver high quality work as part of a team. You’ll interpret environmental data and ensure the highest standards in inventory analysis are met, and will empower the customer success team and support engineering and product to deliver for customers
  • We want to change the way our customers do business: Your expertise in carbon accounting, environmental consulting and project management, coupled with your commercial judgement and knowledge of real-world applications to carbon accounting, will ensure customers achieve their carbon goals

Who you are. There are a range of experiences and skills that will likely help you succeed in this role, including:

  • You have great academic credentials, including a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Environmental Science or Environmental Management) or a broader field with a focus on environmental issues (e.g. Data Science, Engineering or Economics).
  • You're deeply committed to tackling the climate emergency and have a sound understanding of the underlying science and have proven experience in the workplace
  • You love analysing and interpreting data and are driven to solve challenging technical problems
  • You are able to communicate complex, technical information clearly, concisely and accurately, and are comfortable presenting ideas to customer audiences with varying degrees of knowledge
  • You are passionate about working directly with corporations on their carbon footprint and can demonstrate experience of GHG accounting in line with best practices (e.g. the GHG Protocol or ISO 14064)
  • You thrive in a dynamic working environment and are comfortable managing multiple project teams simultaneously
  • You're a free thinker who will identify opportunities for improvement and be confident in communicating these

What's in it for you?

  • Accelerating the global fight against climate change through corporate ESG responsibility
  • Being part of a supportive, collaborative team full of amazing talent
  • Bringing advanced software solutions to vital but antiquated industries
  • Reinventing how carbon accounting is done, all while delivering analysis and reduction plans for leading global businesses
  • Helping to manage the chaos of growing a company (and sometimes contributing to that chaos)
