The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review and record vendor invoices in bill.com with appropriate documentation and obtain proper approval of invoices per Company's policies and procedures
• Initiate and prepare weekly vendor payment in a timely manner
• Work closely with supply chain and vendors to resolve billing related issues, including balance disputes, delinquencies and reconciliations
• Maintain vendor database, collect new vendor W-9s and run vendor background checks
• Administration of year-end 1099’s reporting and filing
• Apply best practices to all AP areas by adding value through process improvement and creating workflow efficiencies
• Assist in ad hoc projects as required by manager
• Receive and distribute incoming accounting mail

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience doing full cycle accounts payable
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with vendors and staff at all levels is required
• Must have strong work ethics, organized self-starter and professional attitude
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable procedures and chart of accounts
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
