Job Description:Nextracker is seeking a skilled and driven Sr. Software Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing our software products from our office.In this role, you will lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more of Nextracker’s software solutions, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and maximizing value for both customers and the company.As the primary owner of assigned products, you’ll serve as a product evangelist, working closely with stakeholders across engineering, sales, and design to drive adoption and success. This role requires an innovative mindset, analytical approach, and strong understanding of both customer needs and market trends to guide product development and deliver high-impact solutions.Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do <ul><li>Manage one or more of Nextracker software products with the goal of aligning the products with Nextracker’s Corporate goals and defining each product’s vision, KPIs and development roadmap</li><li>Assume complete ownership of assigned products by becoming an expert on the product and being the product evangelist who continuously strives to make the product successful driving user adoption and value to the company</li><li>Engage all the stakeholders in contributing to the product goals and aligning their respective functions with the product vision</li><li>Develop in-depth understanding of our customers to create buyer/user personas that inform product decisions. </li><li>Lead quantitative and qualitative research, synthesize findings, and make recommendations to senior product leadership. </li><li>Translate customer needs and business goals into intuitive, valuable product features. </li><li>Create user stories and work with UX designers on flows and prototypes. </li><li>Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery. </li><li>Continually track and analyze usage metrics to measure experience success and uncover areas for optimization. </li><li>Stay up to date on market trends, emerging best practices, and competitors. </li></ul>Here is some of what you’ll need (required) <ul><li>9+ years serving as a Software Product Manager for software applications, including in the renewable energy industry.</li><li>Strong background in managing energy infrastructure solutions, comprising hardware and software components </li><li>Passion for understanding customer needs and advocating for the customer experience. </li><li>Strong analytical abilities and data-driven mindset. </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences <ul><li>Experience managing highly technical, enterprise products from inception to scale</li><li>Experience working in the solar industry is a big plus</li><li>Experience with Solar Project Design and Monitoring applications is preferred</li><li>Utility scale solar experience is a plus </li></ul>Nextracker offers a comprehensive benefits package.
