About the role

Afresh is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to add to our expanding sales team. You’ll learn and cultivate the skills needed to succeed in a sales organization by developing compelling outbound strategies, building trusted internal and external relationships, and hitting quarterly engagement targets.  As our first SDR hire, you’ll also have the opportunity to craft key internal processes and playbooks to enable future team and company growth. 

  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns to identify qualified leads
  • Build and cultivate relationships via phone and email to set meetings for our sales team
  • Qualify inbound leads to ensure they meet our product-market fit and target market
  • Proactively manage communications with prospective customers focused on Afresh value proposition and customer discovery
  • Use Salesforce to manage and track the lead pipeline, communications activity, and customer meetings
  • Test messaging and outreach techniques with a goal of helping prospective customers understand the problems we can help them solve
  • Partner across Afresh go-to-market teams to develop internal workflows for sales lifecycle

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities
  • Willingness to work independently and be self-starter
  • Passionate for sales with a desire to grow into an Account Executive
  • Experience outbound prospecting into a list of target accounts
  • Measurable track record of success against target goals
  • Continuous learner with desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
