It’s time to take a stand and ActNeutral

Customers, clients, employees, industry groups and governments are demanding a strong position on the environment from companies of all sizes, across all industries. ActNeutral is building a platform that enables companies to take their stand on climate change with their most valuable and most passionate assets - their team members.

With ActNeutral’s integrated employee engagement platform, executives, HR departments and Employee Resource Groups will be able to educate, inspire and measure positive environmental impacts within their organization. 

ActNeutral launched in early 2021 with four part-time bootstrapping partners who built a unique direct to consumer carbon offsetting rewards platform. We quickly learned through interactions with brand partners that we could accelerate and maximize our positive environmental impact by pivoting away from the DTC model and switching to a B2B model working with employers to educate and inspire greener living throughout their organizations. 

With a captive audience and strong social and regulatory tailwinds, it’s time for ActNeutral to build out the MVP of our concept that employers have shown us they need. 

About the Role:

The founding partners are looking for someone who loves to be a visionary, build a product and team, and operate a business in a high paced environment. You’ll be in the driver’s seat taking ActNeutral from 0 to 1, then 1 to 100. As Chief Executive Officer and a partner in the business you will be the face of the company’s pre-seed fundraising round, then lead the team through the initial development and commercialization of our digital product and future roadmap, and put in place the personnel and best practices needed to successfully bring ActNeutral to market and scale its operations. 

What You Should Bring:

  • Passion for our planet and urgency to do good for the environment 
  • Strong appreciation for work culture and how to create a fun, caring, exciting and high performance environment
  • History and ability to lead a team, develop effective business goals and budgets, and be the face of an organization
  • Product management or Executive/GM experience 
  • History of designing and/or building digital products or working closely with technical teams on building digital products
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines, develop and manage budgets and hit growth targets
  • Enough climate science knowledge to be dangerous
  • Effective and efficient talent acquisition and outsource provider management

Compensation:

  • Higher portion of Equity to start that will be supported by salary compensation on market for similar roles of similar startup companies.
