Your mission
Sungrow Europe offers an exciting opportunity for a manager and an associate to work on Strategic Business Development and Investment projects. You will get exposed to a variety of strategic development and inorganic growth topics. Join us and contribute to creating the energy system of the future.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Originate, evaluate, and mature inorganic deals (M&A and CVC) aligned with Sungrow’s strategic priorities
- Identify, develop, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and joint ventures
- Lead/support cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of opportunities
- Manage the inorganic growth funnel and manage/support other activities of the strategic development team
- Act as a sounding board for sales teams and support them with developing negotiation strategies and stakeholder management plans
- Gather market intelligence to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities that inform the team’s activities
- Attend selected industry events, including in other European cities
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field
- Prior relevant experience and knowledge from M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Consulting, JV setup/management, greenfield and brownfield capital projects maturation etc.
- Strong communication, teamworking, and internal/external stakeholder management skills across seniority levels
- Self-driven with ability to work independently in environments with high ambiguity and uncertainty
- Ability to think along the full value chain and identify creative value maximization possibilities while managing associated risks in a structured manner
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) including financial modelling skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, other languages are a plus
Good to have:- Strong knowledge of European climate and energy policy & trends with an existing network in this domain
- Significant experience in strategic partnership roles with a proven track record
- MBA and/or CFA preferred, but not mandatory
