Market Research Analyst

Your mission
Sungrow Europe offers an exciting opportunity for a market research analyst to join us during an exciting phase in the company and industry’s growth. Join us and contribute to creating the energy system of the future.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Market research insights: Provide quantitative and qualitative insights  distilled from a variety of internal and external data sources including market forecasts and scenarios and make recommendations
• Intelligence Gathering: Provide market, customer, and competitor intelligence to inform strategy development, pricing/business models, and improve overall external market awareness including through surveys
• Business Insights: Develop and manage dashboards to track regional business performance using leading and lagging indicators to identify important trends
• Support Business Development: Support strategic growth team with the maturation of new business opportunities and inorganic transactions
• Management Information: Develop and manage management information for periodic management team meetings
• Stakeholder/Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key internal as well as external stakeholders including a variety of external data and market insight providers
• Attend selected industry events, including in other European cities

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to identify qualitative and quantitative insights by interpreting a large amount of data from a variety of data sources and an ability to develop and think in terms of scenarios
• Prior knowledge of the European energy and climate landscape and a network in this space especially with data and market insight providers and relevant industry associations
• Strong communication and teamworking skills
• Ability to work independently under guidance from supervisor(s)
• Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, survey platforms, as well as data analysis, visualization, and dashboard development tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire, SPSS, SAS etc.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English, other languages are a plus

Good to have:

• Prior experience in the energy and/or renewables industry especially in several of the following verticals:
  1. Solar PV / Power Conversion
  2. Battery Storage Systems
  3. EV Charging
  4. Hydrogen
  5. Energy Software Platforms
