Job Description

Assist the North American Finance team with the controls accounting and financial operations according to the guidelines of the company and under supervision of the Corporate Finance area along with and other duties as assigned.
•    Ability to read and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
•    Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis. 
•    Support with the monthly and quarterly financial statements (GAAP & IFRS).
•    Monthly account reconciliation.
•    Taxes (GST, payroll remittances, income tax).
•    Treasury, cash management.
•    Budgeting and forecasting.
•    Verify invoice amounts against executed contracts.
•    Enter and code invoices into accounting system.
•    Accounts Payable workflow management including gathering approvals through software.
•    Prepare and reconcile bank payments.
•    Account Reconciliations.
•    Assist with year-end audits including providing sample audit request by auditors.
•    Prepare month end bank & credit card reconciliations.
