We are now looking for a 

 

(Senior) Process Automation Expert

 

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Trieste (IT), but also Vaasa, Helsinki, Turku (FI) are possible location. 

 

What you will be doing 

 

Process automation is important enabler of high performing processes within Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services (WGLS). Today, we operate over 150 processes that have been automated with help of RPAs (UiPath) and new automated activities are continuously planned and developed. In addition, we are also developing new automation solutions through concepts like intelligent Business Process Management (iBPM) and Process Orchestration. We are now looking for a (Senior) Process Automation Expert to support continuous development of process automation within WGLS.

In this position, you will focus on maintaining and developing RPA solutions and environment in collaboration with our stakeholders. You will also have an important role during our SAP S/4 Hana implementation program, as we need to ensure that our RPAs continue working also in the new ERP environment. Additionally, you will play a key role in the evaluation and definition of our Process Orchestration partner.

 

As (Senior) Process Automation Expert, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop and maintain RPAs in scope of WGLS 
  • Explore and identify new opportunities for RPA developments together with our main business stakeholders
  • Participate in RPA environment development and maintenance activities
  • Ensure WGLS RPAs will continue to work after SAP S/4 Hana implementation
  • Represent WGLS organization towards central RPA community and participate in cross-organizational developments
  • Coordinate, develop and support WGLS RPA Citizen Developer community
  • Participate in Process Orcherstration development activities, to evaluate best way to scale it in the organization

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

 

  • Experience in Robotic Process Automation development using UiPath
  • Knowledge of database & integration technologies
  • Experience in using version control systems
  • Experience in Business Process modelling using BPMN 2.0 standard
  • Proactive, analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a can-do attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn efficiently
  • Good communication, collaboration and presentation skills

 

These skills would be seen as an advantage:

 

  • Knowledge of CI/CD stack used for packaging, testing and deployments
  • Experience in Microsoft stack & packages e.g. .NET / Windows Workflow Foundation
  • Experience in delivering Agile delivery stream
  • An ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. from a relevant field of study (commercial, technical, statistics etc.) or similar practical experience.
