In this role, you will be joining a group that develops both full custom and semi-custom image sensors and cameras that are used by customers all over the world in the most demanding airborne, space, and life science applications. You will apply your in-depth technical knowledge of semiconductor design to develop Teledyne DALSA’s image sensor technology. You will work in a high-paced development environment with a customer-focused mindset. The successful candidate will help develop pixel designs and layouts, provide technical guidance on developments, optimize sensor performance to meet customer requirements, and provide technical support to customers. Interacting with technical leaders, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, and test teams, they will help develop and support custom image sensor and camera development &amp; manufacturingQualifications:<ul><li>Degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, Nanotechnology, or a related relevant field</li><li>Knowledge and experience in semiconductor device physics is essential, understanding of CMOS image sensor technology</li><li>Experience with semiconductor device modelling and/or layout</li><li>Broad knowledge of semiconductor fabrication process, microelectronic circuits, analog electronics and optics</li><li>Experience with imaging technology, optics , and/or electronics</li><li>Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and innovate in a dynamic environment</li><li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Report writing is essential</li><li>Proficiency in programming/data analysis software (Python, MATLAB, R, etc)</li><li>Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines</li><li>Controlled Goods screening will be required</li></ul>The following experience/knowledge are not mandatory but will be assets:<ul><li>Pixel Design experience</li><li>3 or more years of product development experience</li><li>Experience leading root-cause investigations</li><li>Proven experience working with large multidisciplinary teams</li><li>Silicon chip circuit design experience is an asset, with particular emphasis on experience with image sensor design</li></ul>    Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
