Job Description

Missions
Thanks to the development of the “Stress Test, Risk Management and Financial steering” chair from Ecole polytechnique, we are looking for a full-time researcher in Climate Economics. In a team environment, you will be in charge to develop research project on climate changes and their impact on Economics while working in a multidisciplinary group.
Work should be based on 2 aspects of climate changes:
• Physical risks: Changes in both weather and climate which affect economy
• Transition risks: Societal changes arising from a transition to low carbon economy
An effect of the transmission channel microeconomics and macroeconomics could be also included to better allow analysis of banks ‘financial risks.


Search Profile
PhD in Economics or Applied Mathematics, with at least 3 years of experience
Strong knowledge of the economics issues links to the low carbon transition
Additional skills in
• data modelling
• economic modelling
• numerical simulation
• data analysis
will be appreciated.
