<div>This role will be based in France and will report to the Head of HSQE. The HSQE Manager FR&amp;BE will be responsible to ensure compliance with the sector industry and regulatory requirements while proactively identifying and mitigating risks associated to the Company’s operations, and for overseeing and implementing HSQE documentation. The HSQE Manager will work closely with the HSQE Team, Asset Management, Asset Excellence and Asset Maintenance Teams, consultants and contractors, and support  the growth of the Organization in France and Belgium by implementing strategies to promote a safe and sustainable work place, with minimal impact on the environment and ongoing works. Key Responsibilities <ul><li> Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations;</li><li> Develop and implement H&amp;S Plan and Environmental Plan for projects and procedures for Ventient Energy France &amp; Belgium;</li><li> Conduct site inspections and audits, assess risks, and identify potential hazards;</li><li> Provide training to workers on safety and environmental practices;</li><li> Monitor project progress and report on project status to management;</li><li> Complete the site’s risk assessment and maintain compliance to control measures throughout the maintenance phase;</li><li> Implement action plans concerning preventive and corrective activities at wind farms;</li><li> Implement and coordinate emergency procedures;</li><li> Support to Ventient local organization to guarantee compliance with HSQE legal requirements;</li><li> Provide guidance to colleagues and contractors as required, e.g. guidance on method statements, safe systems of work, updated legislation etc., </li><li> Define HSQE training plans at a local level;</li><li> Manage, monitor and analyse HSQE performance data;</li><li> Respond and investigate accidents and incidents as required, ensuring clear investigations with identification of areas for improvement;</li><li> Support on the identification of hazards, evaluation and control of professional and environmental risks;</li><li> Participate on the design of initiatives to promote environmental and safety awareness internally and externally; </li><li> Review and validate HSQE requirements on contracts. </li></ul> Competencies &amp; Behaviours <ul><li>Strong organizational and project management skills;</li><li>Excellent communication skills - written and verbal;</li><li>Hands-on proactivity;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team;</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;</li><li>Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the Organisation as well as outside Ventient Energy (e.g. suppliers and regulatory authorities).</li></ul> Competencies &amp; Behaviours <ul><li> Strong organizational and project management skills;</li><li> Excellent communication skills - written and verbal;</li><li> Hands-on proactivity;</li><li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team;</li><li> Results and solution focussed;</li><li> Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;</li><li> Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside Ventient Energy (e.g. Suppliers and regulatory agencies).</li></ul>Skills &amp; Knowledge <ul><li> Knowledge of construction and project management principles;</li><li> Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, specifically wind power;</li><li> Working knowledge of safety and environmental legislation;</li><li> Dynamic, proactive, and well organised.</li></ul>  Relevant Experience <ul><li> Minimum 6 years of experience in HSE management in renewable energy sector, specially wind power projects; </li><li> Experience in developing and implementing safety and environmental procedures;</li><li> Experience in conducting site inspections and audits;</li><li> Experience working with IS0 14001, ISO45001 and IS0 9001 management systems. </li></ul> Education &amp; Qualifications <ul><li>Degree in Engineering, preferably Environmental Engineering;</li><li>Occupational Health &amp; Safety Diploma;</li><li>Internal auditor on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and knowledge of ISO 9001;</li><li>Fluent in English and France. Other language is desirable;</li><li>Driver’s license.</li></ul> Software Programmes <ul><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools;</li><li>Knowledge in HSQE specific software is desirable.</li></ul> Travel Requirements  <ul><li>Availability for traveling in France and Belgium.</li></ul></div>
