The RoleThe Vice President, Commercial Operations is responsible for delivering an outstanding experience to all of Omnidian’s commercial clients by leading multiple teams of direct reports and leveraging technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our growing commercial operations team: recruiting, employee development, values-aligned cultural leadership, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Oversee solution delivery for all commercial assets
  • Drive culture of continuous improvement and rapid escalation to resolve issues and client feedback
  • Ensure commercial asset performance remains optimized
  • Ensure client communications and reporting exceed expectations
  • Track, manage, and influence operational cost structure to ensure contracts deliver expected financial performance
  • Develop, organize, and manage quarterly operating plans to define goals and initiatives and track related progress
  • Drive business growth by developing tools, processes, methods to expand the reach of existing products and solutions

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or relevant technical field
  • >10 years of professional experience with progressively increasing levels of leadership responsibility
  • Previous experience in senior leadership role, with responsibility for direct reports and cross-functional collaboration
  • Previous experience with commercial solar asset management and/or operations & maintenance

Skills

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment that is focused on growth
  • Detail-oriented and capable of driving multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical understanding of business operations infrastructure and tools, including CRM, support ticketing, ERP, and business intelligence
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Advanced degree or MBA
