This position needs to be created to cater the needs of potential department transfer of a exiting candidate in some time.Responsibilities / TasksJob responsibilities:<ul><li>3D Mechanical Design &amp; 2D Manufacturing Drawings</li><li>Static and Dynamic Analysis.</li><li>Generate Final Calculation report using FEA Static and Dynamic results.</li><li>Seismic Anchoring Calculations.</li><li>Able to verify and validate calculations based on simulation results.</li><li>Incorporating Country specific standards during analysis and calculations.</li><li>2D / 3D Plant Layout &amp; Piping Drawings.</li><li>Prepare the Sales Equipment Layout from Concept.</li><li>Assist Sales team for Initial Information required.</li><li>Prepare As Built Drawings.</li><li>Obtaining Design inputs &amp; evaluating completeness of data.</li><li>Planning the overall work in line with Project schedule.</li><li>Review of Drawings with Engineering-Manager for Approval.</li><li>Co-ordinate with Project Engineers &amp; Project Managers for smooth design.</li><li>Co-ordination with End Customers to explain Design / Analysis concepts if needed.</li><li>Obtaining interdisciplinary review/approval.</li><li>Checking of drawings &amp; Bill of Materials.</li><li>Release of Equipment Fabrication drawings &amp; Bill of Materials for Fabrication.</li><li>Release of Equipment GA drawings for Customer’s approval.</li><li>Incorporation of Customer’s comments.</li><li>Other Departmental activities / Other activities as required.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsEducational qualification: Masters / Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design)Years and type of experience:3-6 years of design experience using one or more of the following software:<ul><li>PTC Creo Parametric (Mandatory - Advanced Level Skills)</li><li>CREO Simulate (Mandatory - Basic / Advanced Level Skills)</li><li>ANSYS (Static Structural)</li><li>Autodesk AutoCAD (Optional - Basic Level Skills)</li><li>Staad Pro (Optional – Basic)</li><li>PTC Windchill (Optional - Basic Level Skills)</li></ul>Experience with design and analysis of Skids and steel structures for industries:<ul><li>Steel Structures and Access Platforms.</li><li>Mezzanine Floor</li><li>Equipment support structures.</li><li>Anchoring Design for Structures.</li><li>Equipment Skids</li><li>Blade / Impellers</li><li>Tanks &amp; Silos</li></ul>Skills / Knowledge:<ul><li>Excellent user of CAD and CAE tools</li><li>Hygienic Design (Pharmaceutical / Food - Industry) </li><li>Attitude to learn new technology</li><li>Willing to work on multiple technologies and products.</li><li>Machine safety standards and applicable norms.</li><li>International Code and Standards (EN, IBC, ASME, DIN, ISO, ANSI…)</li><li>Team player</li><li>Proven experience working within a design department.</li><li>PLM/PDM Software</li><li>Understanding of P&amp;IDs</li><li>Technical report writing.</li><li>MS Office</li></ul>Language Skills:Excellent written and oral English skills are a must.Did we spark your interest?
