In this role, you will take full ownership of the user journey, focusing on product discovery and defining the problem space as a key member of a product trio. You will lead the entire design process, involving engineers early and continuously from ideation through to build and launch. As an outcome-focused designer, you will evaluate the product’s performance to ensure that both business and user values are successfully addressed. A strong understanding of business needs combined with design thinking is essential for this position. Transforming intricate business processes into an intuitive and sophisticated user experience, progressing from conceptualization to the development-ready mockups
Working on a meaningful productthat influences our users’ monthly budget while fueling the energy transformation in Germany.
Offering expertise in enhancing the user experience of our product through strategic design and performance optimizations.
Leading cross-team conceptual development and design documentation, collaborating closely with PMs, engineers, business teams, and senior management.
You are contributing to multiple projects within an agile, fast-paced environment as a member of a cross-functional team.
Serving as the go-to team member for inquiries or clarifications on UI/UX matters.
What can you bring
User Experience Expertise: Proven experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, or in a comparable role.
Design Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your experience in product design.
User-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of UX principles, user-centric design processes, and data-driven decision-making.
Visual & Interaction Design: A keen eye for visual and information hierarchy, with the ability to create intuitive and delightful interfaces.
Design Execution: Ability to develop process flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design strategies and complex interactions.
Influencing & Collaboration: Strong ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively to set and achieve goals and deadlines.
Project Management: Skilled in prioritizing and managing design projects in a fast-paced environment.
Product-Led Growth Experience: Background in designing for product-led growth environments.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German (C1).
Location: Be based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg.
