Job Brief

The Chief of Staff will support the CTO in developing a product development schedule, tracking progress, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will coordinate with multiple cross-functional departments in order to efficiently allocate resources, manage risks, develop attainable schedules, and clarify requirements as needed. The ideal candidate would have an Engineering or Science degree and several years of experience with cross-functional project and technology development teams.

What You Will Do

  • Work with CTO to establish goals and requirements for product development and continued innovation
  • Work with team to establish project plans and track progress
  • Coordinate resources
  • Communicate with stakeholders
  • Identify problems and lead problem solving process
  • Identify decisions, lead decision making process, and communicate decisions to team
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders (team, management, customer, suppliers, etc.)
  • Streamline processes
  • Create project documentation

Who You Are

  • Experience in program management
  • Excellent communicator (oral and written)
  • Experience working with Product Development & Stage Gate Processes
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Organized
  • Able to multi-task
  • Big picture thinker
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Degree in relevant technical field
  • PMP certification is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with project management methods such as agile, scrum, or Kanban
