<br><br><h3>Description of the job :</h3><ul><li>The Direct Material Senior commodity manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring direct materials required for battery manufacturing. This role ensures the continuous supply of high-quality materials at competitive prices, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to Verkor policies meanwhile pioneering the next generation of industry standards.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities :</h3><ul><li><b>Competitive :</b></li><li>	Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure the best terms for price, quality, delivery and EHS.</li><li>	Cost Management: Monitor market trends &amp; geopolitics to identify cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>	Conduct cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives.</li><li>Reporting: Prepare and present sourcing reviews at tactical &amp; strategical level,  including key performance metrics.</li><li><b>Resilient :</b></li><li>	Supplier Performance: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conduct performance reviews, and manage supplier performance improvement activities.</li><li>	Define tactics and strategy to ensure uninterrupted deliveries</li><li>	Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, production, and quality assurance, to align sourcing strategies with overall business goals.</li><li><b>Responsible :</b></li><li>	Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with purchasing guidelines, and relevant regulations.</li><li>	Sustainability: Promote sustainable procurement practices and work with suppliers to improve their environmental and social performance as well as their full alignment to Verkor Code of conduct.</li><li>	Ethical Sourcing: Ensure that all materials are sourced ethically and responsibly, adhering to industry standards and company policies.</li></ul><h3>Requirements :</h3><ul><li><b>Qualifications:</b></li><li>	Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>	Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the battery or      related industries.</li><li>	Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>	Knowledge of market trends, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis.</li><li><b>Skills and Attributes:</b></li><li>	Analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>	Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.</li><li>	Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>	Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>	High level of integrity and professionalism.</li></ul><br>
