Job Brief

As a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Manager, you will be responsible for process standardization and quality document management for processes fabricating core components in our CO2 to value electrolyzer. You will lead a Quality Team

What You Will Do:

Project management:

• Manage Twelve’s Quality Management System (QMS) and quality team efforts to conform with internal and external product requirements
• Develop a comprehensive QMS and action plans for Twelve’s fabrication processes including product design requirement documentation, risk assessment, failure mode and effects, control and action plans, work instructions, and other primary and auxiliary process QMS documentation
• Work effectively with various technical project leads and subject matter experts to understand current quality status and future target specifications
• Work closely with quality control engineers and technicians to understand concerns and help develop corrective actions
• Manage fabrication SOPs, and take the lead in documenting and implementing best practices
• Lead and support internal and external audits
• Perform review of audit outcomes, share trends and findings, and recommend follow-up direction and action items to leadership teams
• Continually improve process and product quality, implement lean manufacturing & six sigma tools
• Keep upto date on supplier quality standards, industry standards and trends
• Maintain safe working practices and contribute to company safety goals

Team Leadership:

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, technicians, other junior or senior personnel to achieve project goals
• Work cross-functionally to expand Twelve’s QMS and standardize supporting functional areas
• Provide comprehensive support and direction for leadership teams to align with company goals and timelines
• Coordinate QMS related training programs across technical team
• Manage and grow a quality team targeting high process efficiency

Who You Are

• BS degree or higher in , Chemical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related STEM field
• 5+ years experience as a quality team leader
• Strong experience in effectively leading direct and indirect teams
• Project management certification or demonstrated experience
• Experience in a fabrication environment, coating process experience preferred
• Familiarity with coating methods such as ultrasonic spray deposition, slot-die or roll-to-roll coating
• Adept at using quality tools and methodologies certification preferred
• Strong statistical analysis knowledge and skills
• Outstanding organization and communication/presentation skills
• Adept at working with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts and multiple stakeholders
