Given the financial and CapEx constraints of our customers, we focus on established technologies with available incentives that result in positive ROI for our customers. You’ll have opportunities to develop and inform our company strategy on how we deploy our energy and decarbonization offering. This role will report to the VP / GM of Energy and Decarbonization Services. This role is remote-friendly with the option of hybrid/onsite work in our San Francisco office. Key responsibilities<ol style=""><li>Lead customer project discovery: Work alongside our customers to qualify energy and decarbonization projects through virtual audits or onsite assessments (if required). Support project evaluation with necessary energy calculations.  </li><li>Evaluate new technology offerings and vendor partners: Assess opportunities to recommend cost and carbon saving technologies to our customers that range from building energy efficiency, energy generation and storage, electrification, process improvements, and more. </li><li>Support digital product offering: Strengthen product capabilities (alongside our engineering team) to streamline project discovery, qualification, partner selection, technology implementation, and tracking. </li></ol>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul style=""><li>Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, energy engineering, or related fields.</li><li>5+ years of experience in energy engineering, industrial energy efficiency, or decarbonization projects (ideally with some ESCO and/or DOE Industrial Assessment Center experience).</li><li>Strong knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, renewable energy systems, and industrial electrification.</li><li>Proficiency in energy modeling, onsite audits, and project ROI analysis; experience conducting ASHRAE Level 1-3 energy audits. </li><li>Experience working with customers, vendors, and internal teams to identify and implement energy solutions.</li><li>Ability to travel for customer onsite energy assessments in the United States (likely once per month)</li><li>Strong communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to contribute to software development by providing insights to streamline energy project implementation.</li><li>Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to achieving decarbonization goals.</li><li>Comfort working with enterprise customers at all stages of their product journeys, and hunger to refine and deliver real value for important businesses and the climate.</li><li>Impeccable project management skills; you keep the trains running when the schedules change.</li><li>Autonomy; comfort delivering world-class results in a rapidly evolving environment.</li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to the overall development of a rapidly scaling company.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul style=""><li>Knowledge of industrial customers' systems, emissions profiles, and/or business needs.</li><li>Experience working at a startup or other fast-paced organization.</li><li>Familiarity working with customers across private equity, Fortune 500 corporations, and mid-market manufacturers</li><li>Willing and interested in hybrid work in our San Francisco office.</li></ul>Thank you for your interest in Gravity!
