SUMMARY

At Nexamp, we strive to make data-driven decisions and our Lead Analyst, Utility Relationships role is critical to ensuring that Customer Experience leadership team can do just that. This position will report to the Director, Utility Relationships and help support the process for building strong relationships with our utility partners across the entirety of Nexamp’s community solar commercial and residential customer base.

The role will drive analyses to improve Nexamp’s overall customer experience, specifically around the strategic relationships with our key utility partners. This will include building scorecards and identifying trends that can be utilized by the Director, Utility Relationships to improve and deepen existing relationships with our utility partners. The ideal candidate will love working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment to analyze trends in business results and provide recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will be responsible for integrating and interpreting data from diverse sources to drive decision making and provide recommendations to leadership. In this position you will be working with the Director of Utility Relationships and the VP, Customer Experience & Operations to identify opportunities for improvement.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the role include:

Trend Analysis

  • Lead analyses to understand business results and identify trends across our customer experience and billing operations functions. Identify opportunities to improve the overall data we receive from our utility partners.
  • Review incoming utility revenue data to identify areas of operational improvement.
  • Monitor the impact of ongoing operations by designing tracking mechanisms, analyzing results, and partnering with the business on recommendations to improve results.

Scorecard Development

  • Combining internal operational data, voice of the customer feedback and utility data to create a scorecard for each strategic business partner.
  • Build presentations and scorecards for the Director, Utility Relationships to present to various regulatory working groups. 

Process Optimization

  • Addressing ad hoc issues impacting our internal operations or the customer experience with speed and urgency, working with internal teams to drive positive outcomes.
  • Identify, frame, and execute deep-dive analyses as trends arise in operational results.
  • Lead various ad-hoc analytical projects as requested by the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate is data-driven, self-motivated, results-oriented, and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. Key qualifications are as follows:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations analytics-related roles
  • Advanced excel skills and experience with PowerBI preferred
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and inquisitive, proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to develop recommendations based on solid analyses that address the root cause and explain the impact to the business.
  • History of teamwork and collaboration across various functions to identify opportunities and resolve challenges
