In this role, you will lead the global FP&A team with responsibility for all budgeting, planning, and reporting, including owning Lime’s central forecasting tool and monthly close process. You will be instrumental in building relationships with Lime’s central and local team leaders, and providing them with analytics and insights to effectively manage performance. You will be responsible for having a deep understanding of Lime’s operations, accounting policies/procedures, and strategic goals, and marrying those elements to function as a strategic business partner and source of truth for financial performance, business insights, and strategic recommendations. What you'll do:

  • Lead the global Financial Planning & Analysis team and function, including developing, recruiting, and retaining highly effective talent and owning all critical FP&A deliverables
  • Owner and primary point of contact on month-end close process
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accruals are accurate
  • Lead FP&A team in compilation of close materials
  • Understand and effectively communicate all critical business insights
  • Lead monthly forecasting and global annual budgeting process
  • Oversee maintenance and application of Lime’s forecasting and budgeting tool (Anaplan)
  • Manage global corporate OpEx budget of +$100M
  • Partner with Accounting on technical policy development and implementation (including, but not limited to: Depreciation, Capitalized Software, Stock-Based Comp, IBNR Insurance)
  • Develop deep relationships with OpEx owners, Regional Managers, and Local Ops personnel to drive strategic initiatives, provide insight on performance, and understand market nuances
  • Proactively identify areas of risk and opportunity to ensure delivery of financial targets
  • Play an integral role in Lime’s public readiness efforts, including development of earnings materials and continuous improvement of Lime’s forecasting and reporting processes
  • Lead preparation of materials for quarterly Board meetings
  • Ad hoc strategic analysis

About you:

  • 8-10 years experience of progressive finance leadership in FP&A
  • 2-3 years experience in FP&A at a public company
  • Strong knowledge of accounting (CPA is a plus) and procedural elements of month-end close process
  • Ability to learn and seamlessly navigate our financial reporting and forecasting tools (NetSuite and Anaplan experience would be an advantage)
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to operate tactically in the weeds and strategically with senior leadership
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and written communication with top notch attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen and an innate sense of curiosity and knack for problem-solving
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to lead, guide, and mentor a team
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task with a high productivity
  • Motivated to work hard and push through obstacles in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in building cross-functional partnerships across varying disciplines both internally and externally
