Project Engineer - Project Development (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Project Development Support: Assist the project development team with day-to-day engineering tasks and activities to ensure the smooth project progression.
• Design and Optimisation of Photovoltaic Projects: Carry out the technical design of photovoltaic installations, including the sizing and selection of equipment (solar panels, inverters, mounting racking, storage systems, etc.), layouts, energy yield assessments and single-line diagrams (SLDs), among others.
• Documentation Management: Maintain and update project Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs) with relevant technical documentation at each stage of project development.
• Hybrid Renewable Projects: Provide support for the development and implementation of hybrid renewable energy projects.
• Timeline Monitoring: Monitor project delivery timelines and implement best practices to ensure timely completion across the portfolio.
• Innovation Identification: Identify and propose opportunities for innovation within the solar engineering sector.
• Consistent Documentation: Ensure a consistent and organized documentation repository for all projects.

Your profile

• Educational Background: Higher degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in renewable energy projects, with a proven track record as a Project Engineer in the development of energy projects.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage in technical discussions across diverse cultural settings.
• Language Proficiency: High proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Flexibility: Geographic and travel availability.
• Software skills: PVsyst, PVcase, RatedPower, AutoCAD and Office365 among others.
