ERM is seeking an Environmental Data Manager in the United States (location flexible). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in a career involving analytical data management, with a focus on data quality. As part of our team, you will work on large environmental projects across North America, and support ERM’s projects worldwide.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integrate data from laboratory, field, and historical sources into ERM’s EQuIS™ databases and other systems.
  • Work with project teams to plan sampling campaigns and deliverable schedules, provide query/reporting support, and develop reporting dashboards for a wide variety of projects.
  • Coordinate with ERM/client contracted laboratories to ensure that project data and reporting objectives are being met.
  • Work with ERM’s various Technical Communities to develop innovative data services and automated workflows.
  • Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients, ERM employees, and subcontractors.
  • Perform and manage multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA degree in an environmental or data management/analytics related field, or relevant work experience. Or the equivalency of 8+ years related experience in lieu of education.
  • 3+ years of previous work experience in environmental data management with strong analytical/database skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Earthsoft’s EQuIS and Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Ability to continually analyze data at all stages for problems, logic, and consistency.
  • Ability to manage and readjust workload to meet changing deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working at a desk performing computer-based tasks.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience with EQuIS modules including SPM and Collect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps
  • Experience with R, Python, or other coding languages

For the Consultant, Environmental Data Manager (Mid-Level) position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $75,349 – $85,878 (USD).  An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.  We also may have instances where employee’s fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are NOT bonus eligible).
