Senior Information Security Engineer

With your broad experience across identity, access, endpoint management, e-discovery, data, and network security, you will balance both hands-on engineering and strategic thinking/planning. What You'll Do:

• Management of IT security and IT risk (e.g., data systems, network and/or web) across the organization
• Address / Answer questions from internal and external audits and examinations
• Develop policies, procedures and standards that meet existing and newly developed policy and regulatory requirements including ISO27001, NIST, etc.
• Serve as project lead within IT security projects
• Promote awareness of applicable regulatory standards, upstream risks, and industry best practices across the firm. This position requires regular, predictable, and timely attendance at work to meet department workload demands
• Perform vulnerability scans, assess risk of vulnerabilities, and advise on recommended actions
• Leverage advanced investigative skills using best in class data correlation and network/packet/log analysis tools

About You:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
• 5+ years of information security experience at an early stage/high growth organization
• Experience providing security architecture guidance and mitigations to teams
• 3+ years experience building & maintaining automation in AWS or other cloud environments
• 5+ years experience securing web applications and infrastructure
• Experience troubleshooting Linux, Windows, OSX, and mobile issues
• Experience performing security evaluations of 3rd party solutions
• Great level of experience with IdPs (e.g. Okta, Ping)
• Expertise in network architecture and familiarity with Zero Trust models
• Broad experience with different VPN and Gateway/Proxy solutions
• Proficiency in endpoint management and MDM strategies and systems (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Mobileiron, JAMF, Landesk)
• Experience with e-discovery and data management best practices
• Comfortable with SaaS management and tools (e.g. bettercloud)
• Ability to build out simple yet effective systems and network monitoring programs
• Experience managing Google domains, G Suite, GAM, etc.
• Well versed in different security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST cybersecurity framework)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you can clearly articulate difficult concepts and ideas
