OVERVIEW - ROLE DESCRIPTION

We have a world class platform for e-mobility and are looking for a mobile development engineer to lead the development of a set of mobile apps for our riders and our high-growth last-mile delivery customers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

• Determine the technical approach and direction for the creation and ongoing ownership of the Zoomo rider app and the Zoomo enterprise mobile apps to help our customers scale their business.

• Help build and lead out a mobile team in the best manner possible, which could include remote development, outsourcing, or whatever options will lead to the best result for Zoomo users and customers.

• Collaborate closely with hardware engineering, product management and design, to make sure teams can move quickly towards a common goal

• Work closely with Product Managers, User Experience designers, Hardware engineers, and others to create a world class mobile-first experience

• Inspire and lead the mobile team by setting clear objectives, challenging assumptions, rewarding performance, and building a great team atmosphere within the team and with other teams.

Requirements

• 5years+ of experience in mobile development of which 3years+ in team leadership experience following agile development processes with a history shipping consumer and/or enterprise mobile apps, both using native development as well as cross-platform development like react and react-native.
• A track record of successfully managing a software team who delivered great products (not just great projects)
• Deep technical expertise on the key decisions required for the development of scalable mobile applications.
• Experience building and shipping a high-quality product to enterprise customers and/or end-users and then iterating on that product over a period of growth for the product.
• Ability to define and effectively communicate a long-term technical vision, and inspire the team
• Effective and mature communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfortable in business and technical discussions
• Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative fast-growing environment.
• Bachelor or higher degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or similar

PREFERABLE

• Has worked on a mobile app which had deep integration with IoT or hardware devices.
