Job Position: Energy Financial Analyst

Reports to: CFO

Position Overview:

Analysts provide a deep connection across the organization.  They tie together sales, finance, development and operations to help align each department with the goals of the Company.  This position will be at the heartbeat of decision making and direction of the company

Responsibilities:

  • Own and improve upon existing detailed operational model
  • Own, apply for and report on federal, state and local incentive programs and incorporate results into company model
  • Provide simplified model for sales team
  • Own and develop detail budget and 5-year model
  • Provide regular detailed reporting/metrics on existing projects

Qualifications:

  • Experience with creating and enhancing models in Excel with the ability to make them web-based a plus
  • Experience with energy industry a plus
  • Experience with HOMER energy model a plus but not required
  • Ability to wear many hats and support different organizations
  • Experience providing budget to actual analyses and providing action items
  • Detail oriented
  • 4 Year college degree
  • 5-7 year of progressive finance/accounting experience
